Whole body cryotherapy in cryo-chamber for treating tendopathies

The origin of tendopathies, i.e. degenerative connective tissue diseases of the tendon attachments (tennis elbow, inflammation of the achilles tendon, heel pain), is promoted by chronic overburdening, and such conditions generally respond very well to whole body cryotherapy. The sometimes very severe pains upon movement already recede after 15 to 20 treatments. This should not lead, however, to a cavalier and premature overloading of the tendons. Protective behavior and a steady and moderate build up of load are important co-therapeutic measures.

For further useful information about whole-body cryotherapy at -110 ° C, and the mechanisms of action, we recommend the book "The Power of the Cold" by Prof. Dr. sc med Winfried Papenfuss, published by Edition K Wolfsegg. Large parts of the content of this website were taken from this book.

The catchy standard work is suitable for both professionals and interested readers. With pleasure we forward your order of "The Power of the Cold" directly to the publisher.
